Ep. 82 - Mary Fogg, Quilt Artist & Sandy Mitchell, Quilt Dealer (And Boy Was She a Character)

Hello, nerds! Today, we have a lovely show for you. We strive for that always but today just feels extra fun.

To start with, Mary Fogg is not to be confused with Mary Fons.

Mary Fogg is a brilliant artist-quilter-woman-human who made gorgeous, intriguing work for many decades, and Mary Fons is your host. Mary Fogg didn’t start making art until she was in her 50s, which is freaking cool. She reminds us all that you are never too old to do sh*t you want to do. Within reason.

After the Fogg lifts (get it?) we move on to discuss the late, great, and, by all accounts, super ornery and brilliant Sandra Mitchell. Sandra was a helluva quilt dealer in the game for a couple decades and she sounded like a REAL piece of work. But what a person, you know? Fascinating.

Enjoy the replay! We have so much fun on this show. I hope you will come by when we are live and say hi in the chat and whatnot. I will be there. 🙂
